Services I Offer
Academic Services
Connect to Success
My services are aimed to meet your love ones academic, social, physical, and emotional needs by teaching & engaging in behaviors that encourage student learning. Vital skills can be taught and encouraged to self-advocate which ultimately empowers them to meet challenges that extend beyond the academic arena.
In conjunction with academic services, I am skilled at implementing existing treatment plans that reinforce communication/social skills, self-help skills, behavior management and other ongoing programs that promotes their individualized development.
I welcome and value the thoughts, ideas, and concerns of parents and caregivers. I can serve as a liaison between educators and IEP/ISP team members.

Work/Vocation
As a certified provider by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), I will assist individuals ages 12 to adulthood which subsidies through the state of Ohio's IO Waiver program. The Individual Options Waiver (I.O. Waiver) aids individuals with developmental disabilities who meet the waiver's eligibility requirements. Services provided through this waiver allow individuals to stay in their homes and get support.
Respite Services
Here For You
Respite care provides temporary relief for a primary caregiver of an individual with special needs. Respite services may be provided in a variety of settings, including the family home, adult day centers, respite centers, or residential care facilities. It can also be scheduled ahead of time on a regular basis, to give a much needed break from the demands of caregiving that allows some "you time" from constant caretaking.
**(Service is available with approved waiver from the Department of Developmental Disabilities. If you are not eligible for waivers private pay is accepted)**

Supportive Learning Services
Perhaps you are anxious - maybe you're unsure about trusting others to provide the same care as you do for your love one. As the owner of Golden Locket, I want to ensure you that your love one will be treated with the up most respect and compassion. I know that each individual has unique strengths, challenges, and barriers. I am willing to do the work and support each person to create opportunities for success, a smile, eye contact, or even a giggle. My supportive learning services is a process of growth and self-discovery; during my time with your love one I will promote learning that is suitable for him/her in the comfort of their environment.
Although I possess the skills and tools to strengthen his/her learning capabilities, I do not provide intervention treatment. All of my services are geared to assist with your love ones current learning process. Thus, I am willing to extend any information I have to encourage your family's values and plans as you help navigate your love ones future.
